Katrina Iamarino

Katrina Iamarino joined CBSM in 2021 as an instructor for Year A. Her path to CBSM began with her reversion to Catholicism when she was in her 30s. She began studying everything about her Faith, discovering she had a charism for teaching others -particularly about Sacred Scripture. Leading others to Jesus Christ through studying and praying the Scriptures is her passion and she has led a thriving Bible Study Ministry at her parish for the last 15 years. She learned about CBSM from some of her former Bible Study students and, after completing her Masters in Dogmatic Theology from Holy Apostles College and Seminary, she pursued a teaching position with CBSM.

In addition to leading her Bible Study Ministry, Katrina works as an adjunct faculty member at Siena Heights University teaching Church History in the Theological Studies Program.

Katrina’s favorite Scripture is Luke 10:38-42, “Now as they went on their way, he entered a village; and a woman named Martha received him into her house. And she had a sister called Mary, who sat at the Lord’s feet and listened to his teaching. But Martha was distracted with much serving; and she went to him and said, “Lord, do you not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Tell her then to help me.” But the Lord answered her, “Martha, Martha, you are anxious and troubled about many things; one thing is needful. Mary has chosen the good portion, which shall not be taken away from her.

Happily married to her husband, Christopher, for 24 years, Katrina has two adult sons, Matthew and Jesse. They live in East Lansing and are parishioners at St. Thomas Aquinas/St. John Student Center. Her hobbies include reading and traveling.

Fun Fact: Katrina is also a licensed attorney in the State of Michigan!
