Tom Shaheen joined CBSM as an Instructor in 2019.  Since then, he has taught all four years in the CBSM curriculum and a short course on leadership in the Bible. 

Tom believes it is important to use the gifts that God has given each of us in order to build up His Kingdom.  He sees helping others to grow in their Faith through prayer and study with God’s Word as one small way of doing this. 

Tom wrote his Master’s thesis on the visionary prophet Zechariah, whose words remind us that there are lessons to be learned from good leadership as well as poor leadership, not just for leaders at executive levels, but for all us in our daily responsibilities. 

Tom’s favorite Scripture is John 10:10,  “I have come that they might have life, and have it more abundantly.”

In the past, Tom taught Computer Science at the University level, and he currently runs a software development business. In his free-time, he enjoys playing golf, watching movies and playing music.
