Beth Spizarny began studying and praying with the Bible during her high school years, and her passion for encountering Jesus in His Word has only grown stronger with time. She has worked for Catholic parishes and apostolates for nearly 20 years. 

Beth teaches the Encounter Year, and delights in seeing more Catholics discover the strength, wisdom, and consolation found in the Sacred Scriptures! In the Scriptures, we truly encounter Jesus anew each time we read.

Beth also serves as a missionary with Catholic Christian Outreach, equipping everyday Catholics to effectively evangelize those around them through intentional accompaniment.

Her favorite Scripture is John 12:24: “unless a wheat grain falls into the earth and dies, it remains only a single grain; but if it dies it yields a rich harvest.”

Beth lives in Farmington Hills and enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, baking bread, running, and reading.
