Dominic Michalik

A life-long resident of Michigan, Dominic Michalik joined CBSM in 2016 as an Instructor in Years B & C. He enjoys using stories and examples to propose connections that scholars don’t mention and to add personality to his teaching. Dominic has been teaching in the Archdiocese of Detroit for over 15 years and currently teaches full-time in the theology department at Detroit Catholic Central High School. While his primary motivation for teaching is the Holy Spirit, Dominic admits that it also helps pay for his five kids’ Catholic education too!

Dominic’s favorite Scripture is Romans 12:2, “Do not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that you may prove what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.”

Dominic spends most of his free time with his wife, Amanda, and their five children, enjoying backyard sports, Marvel movies, guitar, reading, and taking his kids for rides on his electric bike.

Fun fact: Dominic enjoys a good motorcycle ride!
